The best guitar for the beginner!

It is very important for everyone who is aspiring to learn how to play a guitar, or if you are giving someone a gift of a new acoustic guitar, to get a good, easy-to-play and comfortable instrument - not a cheap one to "see if they do anything with it". It's also really nice to have a sweet, resonant sounding guitar which makes you WANT to get your hands on it.
One of the big reasons people give up on learning the guitar is that it hurts the finger-tips when you are starting and do not yet have any callouses built up.
We want more guitar players. And, that desire to play must not be allowed to get lost in such a thing as having an instrument that is difficult to play, and hurts if you do!
So, here's a link to the Taylor Guitars website, and to the Academy 12e, which I recommend as a minimal starting.
When you give a guitar as a gift this season, remember that Taylor’s slim neck design and range of body shapes make our guitars inviting and easy to play.
With a compact frame, a carved armrest, and a built-in tuner, the Academy 12e is the perfect gift for a new guitar player.
